Welcome to St Joseph’s Catholic School Pukekohe

Excellent Education befitting our Catholic Character

To God our Best and Greatest

Principal's Welcome

Welcome to St Joseph’s School, Pukekohe.

We invite you to be part of our Catholic school community built on the charism of The Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions RNDM. We are proud of our history and heritage and value the charism of our founding order. The Special Character of our school is expressed through the students, the teachers and the wider school community, living and teaching the Gospel Values. At St Joseph’s, our committed and dedicated staff work to create a positive, caring, Christian environment where excellence is encouraged, diversity valued and success celebrated.

St Joseph’s is an integrated Catholic Primary School catering for children from new entrants to year six. We are a friendly school with an emphasis on pastoral care reflecting our mission values. We endeavour to be in right relationship with God, ourselves and others, and creation.

St Joseph’s is a place where children have positive, enjoyable, learning experiences; a place where we can celebrate learning and achievement. Our aim is to develop confident, faith-filled learners. The teaching staff have a range of expertise, interests and experience. The teachers work collaboratively sharing professional skills and knowledge to engage children’s learning. We provide students with a holistic education encompassing spiritual, academic, physical, social and emotional development. We are dedicated to helping your children on their learning journeys.

We are fortunate to belong to St Patrick’s Parish Community as well as a very supportive parent community. We are committed to ensuring that when students leave St Joseph’s School they have the necessary skills, values and attitudes to continue their education journey, and to take their place within society and the Catholic Church community.

We look forward to you finding out more about what a Catholic Education can offer your family and together we can create the best possible learning environment for your children.
